Highlights and extra information:
Bishop Cliff Fletcher and his wife Karlene will be our guests tomorrow during the service. Everyone is welcome to stay behind for refreshments following the service.
The Watoto Children’s Choir has contacted the Church and asked if we would be able to fill a cancellation in their tour schedule. They would be in our area on Thursday, March 5th. We are looking for people who would be available to host groups of 2-3 people in their home for one night, provide breakfast and laundry facilities and transportation to and from the Church. If you have questions about hosting or are able to help please speak to Pastor Thomas at Church on Sunday or contact him directly at pastor@ngccfm.ca or 613-258-4815 x 100. We will need to let the Choir know by Tuesday if we can accommodate them or not.
We may have a significant snowfall tonight, while there will be service tomorrow, please use your good judgement in deciding to come to Church. If the roads are not passable where you are it is OK to stay home.

End of Year Donations Please note that the last day to put a donation in the offering plate and have it count for a tax receipt in 2019 will be Sunday December 29th. Online donations received by the bank before 11:59 PM on December 31st will be counted in 2019. Donations received afterwards will be counted in 2020. If you have any questions, would like more envelopes or need more information about online or automatic tithing options please see Susi in the Church office. Thank you for your understanding.

This weekend is Time Change Sunday; the clocks go back 1 hour on Saturday. Since it is “Hungry Sunday,” we will have Timbits and coffee available before the service.
This Sunday we will be celebrating the dedication of Pastor Thomas & Amy-Beth’s daughter Tessa. Following the service, we will have an after-service coffee hour where there will be cake and treats to share. If you are able, donations of treats and sandwiches will be gratefully received by the Pastoral Care Team. If you would like to bring a gift for the new parents, Walmart gift cards would be a blessing.
You may have noticed that the big white set of drawers that was upstairs by the bathroom is no longer there. It has been replaced by a smaller, more compact oak filing cabinet that is between Pastor Thomas’s and the admin offices. If you have any questions, please see Susi.
We will be stapling bags for the Fill-A-Bag Campaign on Saturday, November 9th from 9 AM to 12 noon at 200 Sanders St. (Across the parking lot from the B&H). Everyone is welcome to join in to help. Please bring a stapler. Light refreshments will be served. Students from NGDHS will be joining us to earn community service hours.

Pastor Liz would like to borrow a fishing vest for Kids Camp. If you have one that you can loan her for the week, please bring it to church on Sunday or contact her at 613-258-4815 x 100.
We are looking for someone to make homemade playdoh for Kids Camp. Supplies and recipe will be provided. We will need the playdoh at the church on Thursday, July 11th. Please see Susi for more information or to help.
Please pray for our upcoming Kids Camp. There are 28 registered kids at this writing, most of whom are from the community. Pray that we will be able to share God’s love with each camper in a real way. We are thankful for each and every volunteer who has stepped up to help, and look forward to sharing what God has done next Sunday.

This Sunday is our annual Society Meeting and service of Celebration. Join us as we celebrate what God is doing in our local Church, induct new members into the Church, dedicate a baby, vote and enjoy a BBQ following the service.
If you are able to bring a salad or dessert to help the Pastoral Care team out with the catering of the BBQ, that would be appreciated. The Pastoral Care Team will provide hot dogs and hamburgers as well as coffee, tea and juice.
