Did you know? There are over 300 000 international students from over 100 different countries enrolled at universities and colleges in Canada? During their 4+ years here in Canada, most of them never have the opportunity to be invited into a Canadian home.
International students often stay in the city during the major holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why not invite some students into your home to share a meal together? It’s a great opportunity for you to build friendship, to learn about foreign cultures and to help international students to build a sense of belonging in a new city.

The 24 Hour Prayer Retreat is going well. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to pray. Join us for the Concert of Prayer from 10:30 – Noon on Saturday, March 2nd. At the concert of prayer, our plan is to pray through three topics, one each half hour. The topics are praise, unity and vision. The praise section will include music and encourage worship. The focus on unity will be on unity within the body of believers in Kemptville. Lastly, we will seek God’s vision for our community and area.
Doug Sprunt will be our guest speaker on Sunday morning. Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for the Family Sunday lunch. The menu is soup and sandwiches. If you are able to help the Pastoral Care team out by supplying a dessert that would be appreciated.

Due to the expected inclement weather tomorrow, we will postpone the usual family Sunday lunch until Sunday, March 3rd. As usual the desserts will be pot luck, so bring some of your favourites to share. Because of this, there will also be no meal following the Concert of Prayer on March 2nd. We will have Church tomorrow for those who can make it, however, please be safe everyone.
There are still times available for the 24 Hours of Prayer, sign up in the Church foyer or just show up between Friday noon and Saturday at 10:30 AM as your schedule allows. The Concert of Prayer will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 2nd. More details about the Concert of prayer inside.
Sunday, March 3rd Doug Sprunt will be our guest speaker. Doug was one of the gentlemen that took the Church leader through the 22 Hour prayer retreat last fall. I am looking forward to what Doug will be sharing on the subject of prayer.
